It is easy to overlook, it doesn't get attention that often but it's where your toothbrush lives. It too need cleaning on a weekly basis. It is one of the germiest places in your house. 1. Dishwashing liquid

Place it on a microfiber cloth and separate the parts, dip these parts in hot water for about 10 minutes. After that you need to drain the water. Fill your sink with fresh hot water solution and add a few drops of liquid dish soap on microfiber cloth and scrub the toothbrush holder with the dipped microfiber cloth inside out, let it sit for a few minutes. When you are house cleaning rinse the toothbrush holder to remove all the soapy residue from the holder. Once that is done then use a dry microfiber cloth to dry out the toothbrush holder properly before returning it back and placing the toothbrush back.
2. Electric toothbrush holder
During the house cleaning It would have never occurred to you that electric toothbrush holders also need to be cleaned. They are comparatively easier to clean then the usual brush holders. When house cleaning the easiest way to clean the electric toothbrush holder is by making a mixture of hot water and dish soap. Dip the microfiber cloth in this mixture, squeeze out excess water and then wipe down the sides of the equipment. Then use a clean microfiber cloth dipped in clean water to wipe clean the equipment from the soap residual. During house cleaning after this step, make a solution with vinegar and water, remove the cover of the toothbrush holder and dip it in this mixture for about 15-30 minutes. After that run it under the tap water to clean it. Let everything dry and place back all the things back and plug in the equipment.
