Treating bathtub stains - House Cleaning Florence

 

Bathtub stains can be stubborn. They look ugly and can make the bath a lot les pleasant.   • Baking Soda:

  • Cream of tartar:

All you need to do is fll a small cup with the cream of tartar and then you need to add hydrogen peroxide drop by drop until you make a thick paste solution out of it. Then you need to apply that paste on the strain and let it dry for few minutes. When you scrub it off you will notice that the stain is gone.

  • Oven Cleaner:

During the house cleaning process if you notice that there is a ring around your porcelain tub that is not coming off easily then you need to bring out your big guns by spraying it with the oven cleaner. You need to let the solution sit for few hours and after that give it a thorough scrubbing.

Caution: Make sure that you don’t apply the oven cleaner to the colored porcelain tubs as it can cause the fading. Also during the house cleaning be careful not to use the oven cleaner on your shower curtains as it can ruin the plastic or the fabric too.

  • Salt:

If you have got yellow spots on your enamel bathtub or your sinks then it can be reduced by mixing up the solution of salt and the turpentine in the equal parts. You need to wear the rubber gloves during the house cleaning then rub away the discoloration and rinse it thoroughly.   • Shampoo:
